Americans With Disabilities Act Notice
It is the policy of the State of Illinois to comply with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C., et. Seq. ("ADA"). The ADA prohibits employment discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of their disability. The ADA provides, in part, that qualified individuals with disabilities shall not be excluded from participating in or denied the benefits of any program, service or activity offered by the State of Illinois. The ADA requires that all programs, services and activities, be readily accessible to and usable by qualified individuals with disabilities. The State of Illinois will communicate effectively with individuals with speech, visual and hearing impairments and provide auxiliary communication aids to qualified individuals with disability participant in or benefiting from programs, services, or activities to afford equal opportunity. Should you wish to review the ADA regulations, ask questions about ADA rights and remedies, policies, practices, or procedures, or make a request for a reasonable accommodation, please contact the State of Illinois' designated ADA Coordinator.
